A day after senior BJP leader Jaswant Singh claimed Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and BJP president Rajnath Singh had betrayed his trust, Raje set out to prove a point by calling for a show of strength of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Barmer district, where the senior BJP leader will contest as an independent.
Raje also accompanied Congress rebel and fresh recruit into the BJP, Sonaram Chowdhury, when he filed his nomination papers on Tuesday.
In a veiled attack on UPA government, Vasundhara Raje said that the state is serving a debt of Rs 56 crore in its rule which was Rs 17 crore in the rule of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Asking support for her party Raje urged to people to vote Col Sonram for the better future of their children, state and nation.
Vasundhara Raje asked support for Sona Ram in the name of 'cow mother'.
