Former cricketer Imran Khan has termed Bugti’s killing as a ‘conspiracy’ against the provinces.

Lahore: Pakistan’s former cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has termed Nawab Akbar Bugti’s killing as a ‘conspiracy’ against the provinces, and said that those supporting President Pervez Musharraf on the issue had "no political future."

Speaking at a public meeting on Sunday evening, Khan said that the acts like killing of Bugti would ultimately cause serious damage to the country, reported the Dawn.

President Musharraf was being only supported by a few generals and political parties, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPP), said Imran, and added that the political parties on Musharraf’s side had no role in the country’s politics in future.

Meanwhile, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, the chairman of the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD), has said that the burial of Nawab Akbar Bugti in a locked coffin was not only injustice to his family, but also an "insult to Baloch customs."

Fahim, who is also the President of the PPP said that the situation in Balochistan was worsening, and the Army dictatorship posed a danger to the solidarity of country.
