After garnering critical acclaim with 'Udaan', director Vikramaditya Motwane is set to release his second film 'Lootera'. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in the lead. The film, set in Bengal of the 1950s, is inspired by O Henry's story 'The Last Leaf'. 'Lootera', a romance period drama, will hit the theatres on July 5. Director Vikramaditya Motwane joined IBNLive readers for an interaction on his new movie 'Lootera'.

A. It's short story from 'Last leaf', the inspiration comes from there.

A. The story excited me, so I did it.

A. We have lot more production problems while shooting 'Lootera', it took around 70 days. Very different shooting 'Udaan' and 'Lootera'.

A. I personally feel he is a fantastic filmmaker. Maybe his choice of scripts in last few years is the reason, he will comeback.

A. Akira Kurosawa, Alfred Hitchcock, Danny Boyle, Satyajit Ray, Bimal Roy. I like all kinds of filmmakers, but Kurosawa is my favourite.
