A DMK worker, who climbed atop the engine of "Uzhavan Express" during its flagging off ceremony in Thanjavur on Sunday night, died after he slipped and fell down, police said.
A DMK worker, who climbed atop the engine of "Uzhavan Express" during its flagging off ceremony in Thanjavur on Sunday night, died after he slipped and fell down, police said.
They said the 40-year-old man climbed the engine along with some AIADMK workers and in the ensuing scuffle, slipped and fell down. He was rushed to hospital, but died en route.
