BANGALORE: Heavy downpour on Monday evening claimed the life of a construction worker, who got stuck under the debris of a collapsed compound wall in Akshaya Nagar in Hulimavu police station limits on Monday evening. The deceased, Nahtu, 26, was a native of Orissa. He was working at an under-construction apartment site and used to stay in a temporary shed next to St Ann’s school compound. Police said that Nahtu was sleeping in the shed on Monday evening. As it rained heavily, the school compound collapsed on the shed and he was stuck under its debris. People noticed it and rushed him to Victoria Hospital, where he succumbed
