The Karnataka High Court on Monday adjourned to Tuesday the further hearing of the application filed by advocate Siraji.

Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court on Monday adjourned to Tuesday the further hearing of the application filed by advocate Sirajin Basha requesting the court to vacate the stay granted by it on the proceedings in the lower court in the five cases filed by him against the chief minister and his close relatives.

The cases are related to land grabbing, nepotism and committing other irregularities.

Justice KN Keshavnarayana directed the arguing counsels to enlighten the court if the accused will have any locus standi to seek a stay considering the that the police can arrest the accused if the court directs an inquiry and thereby curtailing their liberty.
