Goat lands in lock-up in cattle theft case

Mumbai: In a strange incident, the police kept goat inside a lock-up in connection with a case of cattle theft registered at Pathri police station on Parbhani, according to reports.

The police have arrested the accused after rounding up several suspects and seized the animal which was found in the possession of the accused.

The goat and accused were kept in separate cells.

This comes a weeks after a parrot was summoned to the police station for allegedly hurling obscenities at a woman in Chandrapur district.
