New Delhi: To provide an integrated business platform for domestic and international players in travel trade, Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation will organise a Global tourism expo in Mumbai next year.
The Mumbai International Tourism Expo (MITE) will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from January 7 to 9, 2010 in association with Conference and Exhibition Management Services.
Talking about the plans for MITE 2010, Edward Liu, Managing Director, CEMS said, "The world is watching how India is fast becoming the most attractive emerging market."
"Through MITE 2010, we will explore a number of targeted influential segments to maximise and draw in the interests of local and international buyers and sellers for tourism-related business and activities."
Travel and tourism is one of the largest industries in the world and India has emerged as a key global travel and tourism hub.
