To cater to the gifting needs, Maayin, Hyderabad’s handicrafts, designer jewellery and gifting solutions brings a collection of porcelain figurines and olive wood handmade handicrafts, which will be on sale till August 10. Products are on display at the Maayin store on Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills.Handmade and hand crafted by renowned artisans from Wagner and Apel, a 100-year-old porcelain maker in Germany, the collection of products are made by professionals to produce natural-looking sculptures, characters, decorative items and many more. The Maayin porcelain collection consists of products in various sizes and the prices range from Rs 400 to Rs 8,000. The articles in the sale include birds, animals, zodiac signs, money banks or saving boxes, salt and pepper shaker sets, candle holders, vases, Christmas decorative items and children figures. Talking about olive wood, it is obtained from the olive tree, an evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean, Asia and African countries. Olive wood carvings are being produced in Tunisia since many centuries and Tunisian olive wood counts for one of the rarest olive wood in the world, as it has a distinctive red pigment in its grain which creates a wonderful honey tinge.  Olive wood products that are on display include chess boards, chess tables, chess pieces, olive wood kitchenware, salad bowls, canisters, coasters, cutlery, spatula, chopping and cutting boards, pestles, mortars and many more. The store also has gifting solutions sourced from various states across India and also from Germany, Thailand, Tunisia and Italy. The product range includes porcelain, blue pottery, paintings, jute, candles, marble, wood and sandal wood, bell metal, stone, ceramic and bone.The stores runs from 10 am to 9 pm and remains closed on Tuesdays.
