From the Jat of Kutch

Shrujan, a non-profit organisation is conducting the Kutchi Hand Embroide r e d Exhibition from today till September 13.  The exhibition showcases sarees and dresses by designers and life style products featuring 16 different types of embroideries that stem from the social and cultural symbols of the Kutchhi communities.

 The collection will include work by designers like Chandaben Shroff, Harita Kapoor, Swati Dalal, Shimoli Shah and Keyur.

 Aari, Aahir, Chakan, Gotanv, Jat Fakrie, Jat Garasiya, Kambrira and Khuditebha, Katri, Kharex, Mukkko, Neren, Pakko Rabari and Soof types and styles of embroidered apparels will be seen. Catch the expo at Veeves boutique, Road No 14, Banjara Hills, which will remain open from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm.
