HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation sealed four eating establishments and prosecuted another three eating establishments on Saturday in Kukatpally, Housing Board and Bhagyanagar Colony, for posing danger to public health and doing business without valid trade licences.Special teams consisting of assistant medical officers of health, food inspectors and other staff inspected about 24 eating establishments and found many functioning with unhygienic premises.Four eating establishments were closed down by the GHMC, M/s Sri Harini Tiffins and Delux Mess, Bhagyanagar Colony, M/s Jagadeesh Chinese Fast Food Centre, Bhagyanagar Colony, M/s Manjunadh Bangalore Iyangar Bakery, Kukatpally and M/s Sri Balaji Sai Ram Mithai Bhandar, Kukatpally. Further,three eateries were prosecuted for violating bye-laws of the Regulation of Eating Houses (or) Hotels, 1973 and also under Sections of HMC Act.They include M/s Sri Madhura Tiffins, Kukatpally, M/s Vasireddy Curries and Swagruha Foods, KSR Towers, Kukatpally and M/s Vazra Tiffins and Meals.
