A fire broke out in a godown of a tent house in Sector 122 here in the wee hours on Tuesday.
The fire spread quickly as wooden material was stored in the godown in Parthala area, fire brigade officials said.
Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot and took nearly two hours to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
