New Delhi: Vivek Agnihotri, who directed the erotic thriller 'Hate Story', is now making headlines for his film 'Buddha in a Traffic Jam'. Based on the Naxal issue, the film features Anupam Kher in the lead.

Such has been the impact of the film that it will now be screened at the MAMI film festival on 16th October 2014.

Vivek Agnihotri had recently said in one of his interviews that "Buddha in a Traffic Jam' is completely different from the projects he had done in the past. "It is a very different kind of a film when you compare it with 'Hate Story' or my previous film 'Dhan Dhan Dhan Goal'," Vivek had said.

Vivek had kicked off his career with 'Chocolate'.

"This one too is a cerebral film but it isn't anything like 'Chocolate'. It deals with the Naxal issue and unfolds through nine chapters, just like a book," he added.
