Ex-servicemen rally in KGF on October 9

BANGALORE: An ex-servicemen rally will be held at BEML Kalakshetra Auditorium, Kolar Gold Fields, Kolar, on October 9. The rally is being organised by the Army. Ex-servicemen from Kolar district are invited to attend the rally. Senior military and civilian dignitaries will attend the rally.The rally aims to provide a forum for the service to convey their views and expectations to the district administration and Army authorities. It will also provide latest information and advise ex-servicemen on rehabilitation and resettlement schemes and other facilities like the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme, pension etc.A team of medical officers including specialists will run a medical camp.The rally is being organised to reach out to exservicemen, particularly in districts which have a large number of ex-servicemen population but comparatively less serving army persons.
