BANGALORE: A gang of miscreants allegedly assaulted a police inspector and a constable, when they were told to stop eve-teasing.According to the police, K P Agrahara police Inspector Pradeep and constable Kumar were on rounds near Magadi Road on Saturday, when they saw a group of miscreants teasing girls.When the policemen asked them to disperse they did not listen and one of the policemen allegedly slapped one of the miscreants.Enraged by this, the miscreants hit the policemen and fled.The policemen were unable to trace them.However, the police learnt that they were residents of the same locality and expect to arrest them soon.A case has been registered in Magadi Road police station in connection with the incident. Further investigations are on.
