SRIVILLIPUTHUR: Nambiar, assistant elementary education officer (AEEO), of Watrap in Virudhunagar district, was arrested by DVAC leuths on Thursday on the charge of accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000.It was alleged that Nambiar had demanded `2,000 as bribe for endorsing 46 transfer certificates.Hee was caught red-handed by DSP Shyamala Devi and Inspectors Ganeshdas and Swaminathan.
