New Delhi: The one-month breather from prison has actor Sanjay Dutt raring to go for his next Bollywood venture.
"I want to start shooting for my films soon. Let us see how things work out. In fact, I missed shooting for the title song of my home production Dus Kahaniyan and I regret that," Dutt was quoted as saying in the premiere of his latest release Dhamaal.
Released on bail from Pune jail in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, Dutt is signed on to star in Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap, Abbas Mustan's Mr Fraud and Raj Kumar Hirani’s sequel to the Munnabhai series.
Talks are also on for several other projects.
"Dhamaal is a big hit and I am very happy. In spite of the fact that the making of the film was delayed, it has worked well with audiences. In fact, many people have not even noticed the absence of a female lead in the movie," he was quoted as saying.
The actor was released on bail from a Pune jail last month after the Supreme Court granted him interim bail. Earlier, a Special TADA court had convicted Dutt for illegal possession of arms in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case and sentenced him to six years rigorous imprisonment.
However, the actor dodged all questions and speculation on his personal life, his relationship and asked the journalists to limit their queries to his films.
He expressed excitement about a book on his parents written by his sisters Priya and Namrata. The book is to be released at the month-end.
