KOTTAYAM: The National Dalit Christian Federation (NDCF) has urged the government to implement reservation on the basis of the population for Dalit Christians in the civic body administrative panels to deliver them a political justice.The NCDF delegates’ meet held here has demanded a comprehensive inquiry into the activities of the Converted Christians Development Corporation. Dalit Christian students in all the government-recognised institutions for various courses like engineering, nursing etc should be given lump sum grant and stipend. Also, Converted Christians Development Corporation should be given a budget allocation of `20 crore. The meet put forth its demands before the state government. NDCF state vice-president Joseph Panikkaparambil chaired the meeting held at the Viswa Hindu Parishad hall. The meet decided to observe the first day of the Malayalam calendar month Chingam as Farmer’s Day.
