Dalit boy's death: HC to view the postmortem video
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu government has ordered a commission to probe the death of Ilavarasan.

Dharampuri: The Madras High Court will on Tuesday view the postmortem report video of Dalit youth Ilavarasan, who was found dead near the railway tracks in Dharampuri, and decide on whether to order a fresh autopsy.

The Madras High Court had directed the state government to preserve till Tuesday the body of Ilavarasan and give the deceased's father a copy of the postmortem report along with video footage of the procedure.

Meanwhile, in a new twist in the case, police on Monday allegedly recovered a suicide note written by Ilavarasan. A four page letter purportedly written by Ilavarasan in which he states that none should be held responsible for his death, has been recovered by the Special Investigation Team probing the case. The letter also gives details on the boy's failed inter-caste marriage.

On Saturday, the boy's family had claimed that the he was murdered and demanded another postmortem be conducted. The autopsy performed on Sunday on Ilavarasan, who was found dead on a railway track on July 4, stated that the youth had died of a "serious head injury" even as the probe was transferred from government railway police to local police.

Ilavarasan, whose marriage to Divya triggered anti-Dalit violence in three villages of Dharmapuri district in November 2012, was found dead along a railway track here on July 4, a day after the girl said she would never go back to him and instead stay with her mother.
