CPM men demoted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ahead of the CPM party conferences heads have started rolling in the  district. Parassala area committee member Thanu Pillai and Vellarada area committee member Balakrishna Pillai were demoted to the branch committees for their alleged role in the defeat of CPM candidate Anavoor Nagappan in the Parassala constituency in the recently held Assembly elections.  In the area committee meeting held on Wednesday there were demands for conducting probe into the spreading of anonymous letters and damaging posters of Anavoor Nagappan on the eve of the elections. But instead of conducting any probe, the area committees decided to demote the two leaders.
