Congress moves second no-confidence motion against BJP govt in MP Assembly
The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Tuesday admitted the notice of no-confidence motion moved by the Leader of Opposition, Ajay Singh for discussion. The motion stating "this House expresses no-confidence in the Council of Ministers headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan" was moved by Ajay following which Speaker Ishwardas Rohani admitted it for discussion.

The discussion on the no-confidence motion will begin from July 11. This will be second no-confidence motion moved by the Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly. The earlier motion was moved by him in November 2011, which was defeated on the floor of the House after an intense debate.

Out of the total 231 seats in the State Assembly, BJP has 151 members, Congress 65, BSP 07, Independent 03, Samajwadi Party 01 and nominated 01. Two seats, Keolari in Seoni district and Neemuch are vacant at present.
