CM reviews security situation

HYDERABAD: In the wake of the Mumbai blasts, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy reviewed the situation with top police officials, including the commissioner of police AK Khan,  additional  DG (Intelligence) Mahender Reddy and instructed  them to step up security measures in the city and other places in the state. The chief minister asked the police officials to be on high alert and take all necessary measures to ensure that no untoward incident takes place. In a statement the chief minister said by targeting innocent people the perpetrators want to create panic among people and such heinous crimes should be condemned by everyone. He also extended support to Maharashtra government in this hour of grief.
