PALAKKAD: The CBI team investigating the death of former employee of Malabar Cements Limited Saseendran and his two sons, on Saturday questioned Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Council state president Isaac Varghese.The CBI team led by DySP Ravindranathan Nair quizzed Isaac Varghese on how he got acquainted with the controversial businessman of Palakkad who reportedly threatened Saseendran. Isaac Varghese has reportedly told the CBI that he had got acquainted with the businessman while being a member of the Kerala Pravasi Sangham district committee from which he was later removed. The Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Protection Council which was in the forefront of protests against the corruption in MCL had later became silent on the issue. Isaac Varghese is said to have replied that he had no vested interest.
