BSY conspicuous by absence at SC meet

MYSORE: Despite his absence, the spectre of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa loomed large over ‘Swabhimana Samavesha’, the BJP SC Morcha’s convention, here on Friday. Except for former Rajya Sabha member K B Shanappa, no one remembered Yeddyurappa or his loyalists. In fact, Yeddyurappa was expected to participate in the event. All speakers waxed eloquent on state BJP president K S Eshwarappa and Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, who were seated on the dais. Former minister Aravinda Limbavali’s address on the ocassion also seemed to reflect the mood.
