Brother duo robbed of Rs.2 lakh worth goods

BANGALORE: Two textile merchant brothers from Rayadurga in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh were robbed of valuables worth `2 lakh by unknown miscreants.The accused in the guise of offering drop threatened the victims to kill with knife point.Gangadhar and his brother Balakrishna, the victims lost 120 gms of gold ornaments and `5,000 cash. According to the police, the victims had come to the city to attend a function. On Thursday night, when they were in Banashankari bus stop, a car with two passengers inside approached them offering a drop . The duo boarded the vehicle and on their way the incident occurred where the duo were robbed of jewellery and cash.
