Kishtwar: Slamming BJP, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today said it was confused on how to sell its policy in the state and was trying to unbalance the political stability here by falsifying facts.
"BJP is fully confused on how to sell its known anti-Jammu and Kashmir policy in the state... as such, indulges in making contradictory statements misleading people by falsifying facts," Omar said, adding that people of Jammu and Kashmir are well versed with the divisive, sectarian and regional bias nurtured by BJP since its inception.
Addressing rallies in Kishtwar district, Omar cautioned the people, saying that some six months earlier BJP fought Lok Sabha election in Jammu on abrogation of Article 370 and on its policy of One Flag, One Constitution and One President (Ek Nishan, Ek Vidaan, Ek Pradhaan) and today BJP leadership is saying that these are no issues. He said this is only to fool people for vote bank politics.
"Their anti-government and anti-NC propaganda is nothing but a poll plank to make inroads into the secular and pluralistic ethos of the state and materialise its hidden agenda of unbalancing the political stability and regional solidarity of Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
Omar said National Conference represents the aspirations of people of all regions, sub-regions and all sections of the society, and does not require any certificate from BJP or any other party, as its popularity and faith of masses in NC's policy programmes are its strengths and credentials.
He said work done by National Conference-led government in the last six years speaks loud and clear across the state.
