HYDERABAD: A delegation of BJP Telangana leaders will visit Delhi on July 24 to meet the party national leaders to convince them to raise the T issue in the Parliament monsoon session scheduled to start from August 1.The BJP delegation also decided to meet President Pratibha Patil and submit a memorandum to her on the T-issue.The 20-member delegation will be led by BJP senior leader and former Union minister Ch Vidyasagar Rao. BJP MLA Y Laxminarayana, senior leaders B Dattatreya and N Indrasena Reddy and BJP national secretary Dr K Laxman will be a part of the delegation.Apart from meeting BJP Parliamentary Party chairman LK Advani, party president Nithin Gadkari and leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, the delegation would also seek the support of all NDA constituents in a bid to increase pressure in Delhi on the T issue.A detailed report on the T issue prepared by the party state unit would be submitted to all the NDA constituents. “Resignations by the Telangana people’s representatives and the TNGOs’ proposed strike from August 1 are among the issues detailed in the report,” said a BJP leader.
