BJD leader killed

BERHAMPUR: A BJD leader and former sarpanch of Moulabhanja panchayat under Digapahandi block was killed by some miscreants on Friday. Sources said Srinivas Rath was returning from Digapahandi to Moulabhanja after celebrating Holi when he was attacked by some unidentified men. Receiving information, BJD leaders and senior police officials rushed to the spot. They seized the body and after an autopsy handed over it to his family.A police team reached the spot to investigate.In a similar fashion, a BJD leader of Dharakote Kangress Nayak, was killed brutally last month.
