A part of the road caved in near an under-construction metro station site in Bengaluru on Wednesday amid heavy rainfall and struck the traffic in the capital city of Karnataka.
Following the incident, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) officials rushed to the spot to take account of the situation and resolve the issue.

A similar incident took place earlier last month when a part of the road caved in due to the collapse of a structure at the metro site.
The southern state of Karnataka is witnessing heavy rainfall amid monsoon season and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted further downpours over South Interior Karnataka in the next 24 hours.
