Lucknow: Banda recorded a high of 43.6 degrees Celsius and was the hottest place in Uttar Pradesh where several districts registered above normal temperatures.
Met office here said the day temperatures rose at many places and were markedly above normal in districts like Varanasi, Faizabad, Jhansi and Agra.
