Arvind Kejriwal gets VVIP security in Bengaluru, travels in a convoy to naturopathy hospital
The Delhi Chief Minister's convoy had around 15 vehicles with siren blaring police jeeps with a red flag which indicates that they are escorting a VVIP.

Bengaluru: After 'ousting' two of his main rivals in the party, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday landed in Bengaluru for a ten day naturopathy course to 'detox' his body and cure his 'trademark' cough.

Contrary to his 'aam aadmi' image in Delhi, Kejriwal got and accepted a VVIP treatment in Bengaluru. Immediately after he was landed at the Kempe Gowda International Airport Limited (KIAL) in north Bengaluru, he was received by the state protocol and police officers.

His convoy had around 15 vehicles with siren blaring police jeeps with a red flag which indicates that they are escorting a VVIP. His convoy crossed the toll near Yelahanka without paying any toll fees. His convoy used the lane meant for VVIPs.

The traffic police allowed his convoy to cover over 40 Kilometer stretch between the airport and Jindal Naturopathy hospital in western Bengaluru without stopping anywhere. After his arrival at the Jindal centre, Kejriwal held a discussion with local doctors and was led to his special ward. Lot of curious people and AAP supporters waved at Kejriwal during his journey from airport to hospital.

Kejriwal's big motorcade is drawing a lot of criticism from both his admirers and detractors. The Congress and the BJP have also attacked Kejriwal for shedding his 'aam aadmi' image in Bengaluru and accepting VVIP facilities to reach the hospital.
