New Delhi: The Anna effect has drawn people to the Ramlila Maidan not only from India but from outside as well. Sunil Khaitan, an executive with Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong says he got on a flight and came directly to Delhi, and this is why.

"My dad had an experience. He was trying to come to Hong Kong to meet me. He was unable to get a passport made because the guy who came home to interview him for verification didn't want to give passport without paying a bribe," said Sunil Khaitan.

Many people at the Ramlila Maidan on Saturday pledged never to pay a bribe again.

"It's a different type of an experience altogether and I have decided not to pay a bribe ever again in my life," said a supporter.

Also, Delhiites came forward - setting up stalls not to sell - but to offer tea and snacks to people who have come from across the country. It's their way of contributing to Anna's cause.

"I have come here to motivate all the people who have been coming here from far off places and we offer tea to them. Tomorrow we will be coming with more food to serve," say a stall owner.

Day 2 of Anna Hazare's fast at the Ramlila Maidan saw hundreds of people throng to see the man at the centrestage and whether they knew anything about the Jan Lokpal or not, excitement was at an all time high.
