But this action was challenged by a private party who owned a school in the adjacent plot. But the minister assured to clear the legal hurdles,” said Anakru Foundation chairman V Lakshminarayana.“The award consist of a cash prize of Rs1 lakh,” he added.Kumar, with a humorous touch, added that politicians and bureaucrats should attend such functions so that they are energised to work better.Kumar appreciated the panel for selecting N S Lakshinarayana Bhatta and commented that the government needs to be careful while selecting persons for the the Rajyotsava awards.N S Lakshminarayana Bhatta has translated over 50 sonnets of William Shakespeare and 50 of Yeats’ poems in a work titled “Chinnada Hakki”.
