CHENNAI: A state level Executive Talent Meet titled Advaita was organised recently at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, which was inaugurated by TS Narayanan, General Manager, South India of UPS Supply Chain Solutions (India) Pvt Ltd. In his key note address, he emphasised the importance of logistics industry and spoke on the challenges and opportunities in the field. “Possessing the required knowledge, skill and being on the toes for making a customer delight are the important hallmarks for a management graduate who would like to pursue his career in this industry,” he said. Competitions were conducted all through the day on various events like business plan, technical paper presentations, business quiz and ad zap, in which about 500 students from different universities and B-Schools participated.PN Prabhakar, Deputy Executive Director of Dalmia Cement who was the chief guest of the valedictory function, stressed on the importance of reading habit and being down to earth. This state level meet was conducted by Association of Management Students of SCSVMV University and a souvenir was released commemorating the event.
