HYDERABAD: The deadlock in the State Legislative Assembly over the demand for sacking of six “tainted” ministers continued for the forth successive day on Thursday leading to adjournment of the House without transacting any business.Since the House met in the morning, Telugu Desam members had been invading  the speaker’s podium to demand sacking of the ministers to whom the Supreme Court issued notices in the YS Jaganmohan Reddy assets case or placing of the 26 controversial GOs which, according to the TDP, helped the YS Rajasekhara Reddy family amass Rs 1 lakh crore.Legislative affairs minister D Sridhar Babu said all the GOs were placed on the official website and any one can access them and appealed to the opposition to cooperate for smooth functioning of the House. But TDP members did not budge.Meanwhile, speaker Nadendla Manohar and deputy speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka held an all-party leaders’ meeting to find a solution to the four-day impasse. The TDP insisted that all the 26 controversial GOs be cancelled or placed before the speaker for their scrutiny. The Left and the MIM too supported the demand. But the ruling party did not agree. Thus, the floor leaders’ meeting did not yield result. When the House reassembled at 12.40 pm the TDP continued its protests, forcing the deputy Speaker to adjourn the House for the day. Earlier, the Speaker had adjourned the House thrice.Earlier, putting forth five demands before the government, TDP’s P Ashok Gajapati Rajau said chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should accept their demands and prove that he was delivering clean administration. He said there was precedence and recalled that in earlier Assemblies seven controversial GOs were placed before the House. The legislative affairs minister was saying that the GOs were available to all citizens on the web but there was no point for the government to reject the demand for placing the same GOs before the House, he said.TDP’s Dhulipala Narendra Kumar alleged that the six “tainted” ministers were bringing pressure on the chief minster not to place the GOs and note files before the House. That was why the chief minister was unable to take any decision, he alleged. But how long will this deadlock continue? “It depends on how the government will respond to the demands of the opposition,” a TDP MLA said.
