Al Qaeda posts Sept 11 video: Monitoring group
The 62-minute video, titled 'The Dawn of Imminent Victory', features unreleased footage of Osama bin Laden.

Washington: A private intelligence monitoring service says al Qaeda is marking the 10th anniversary of the September 11 attacks with an hour-long video, just released on Jihadist websites.

Site Monitoring Services says the video features an audio speech by the new leader, Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahri, as well as previously unreleased footage of former leader Osama bin Laden. The 62-minute video, titled 'The Dawn of Imminent Victory', was posted on jihadist forums on Monday. Zawahri is shown in a still photo.

US intelligence officials say Zawahri tops their hit list after the killing of bin Laden by US Navy SEALs in Pakistan in May.

The US was on high alert during the weekend over what officials described as a credible but unconfirmed terror threat on Washington or New York.
