CHENNAI: AIADMK district secretaries on Thursday handed over a total of `6.82 crore as party development fund to Chief Minister and party general secretary J Jayalalithaa. Housing Minister R Vaithilingam (on behalf of Thanjavur south district), Food Minister (Tiruvarur district), Revenue Minister (Coimbatore rural district), Information Minister KT Rajendra Balaji (Virudhunagar district) handed over `1.06 crore each as party development fund to Jayalalithaa.Rural Industries Minister MC Sampath (Cuddalore East district), Fisheries Minister KA Jeyapaul (Nagapattinam district), Handlooms Minister S Sundararaj (Ramanthapuram district) and G Senthamizhan (South Chennai district), handed over `52 lakh each as party development fund. Similarly, Agricuture Minister S Damodaran from Coimbatore Rural district, handed over `50 lakh as party development fund.
