Mumbai: Jahnavi Kapoor, an aspiring actress who had claimed that actor Abhishek Bachchan had promised to marry her, is now in a new dilemma. Due to her suicide fiasco on Abhishek’s wedding day she has been rendered homeless.
Shiv Sena activist and Jahnavi's neighbour, Munna Gupta said, “After she left for her press conference at Barista in the morning, it became apparent the gas cylinder in her kitchen was leaking. Despite calling the police for help, they didn’t turn up. So we took permission from the chairperson and forced opened her main door to switch the gas off.”
On the face of it, it seems the society has used this latest episode to settle old scores. According to the sources residing in the same building, Jahnavi maintained an unconventional lifestyle.
There were reports about boyfriends who frequented her home. There are also rumours about her being on dope. She also allegedly argued and harassed people living in the building.
Allegedly, the starlet had promised her landlord that she would vacate the premises by a given date but went back on her word.
The Oshiwara police intervened and requested the landlord for a five-day grace period to vacate the house.
Apparently, a similar situation had arisen when Jahnavi was residing at Patliputra building nearby.
Since Jahnavi has been released from the police lock up now, she will have nowhere to go.
The chairperson Rosa Das along with the neighbours has removed her belongings from the sixth floor apartment in Ambar building at Four Bungalows (Andheri).
Looks like Jahnavi has run out of dus bahane.
