New Delhi: While worried father Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on Wednesday night that Abhishek Bachchan had met with an accident while filming in Jaipur, his son made light of his injury moments later on Twitter and dismissed it as a minor fall.
"Abhishek's had an accident on set in Jaipur, has just flown back .. 6 stitches near eye .. Is well .. Will take some days to recover," senior Bachchan tweeted.
But minutes later Abhishek tweeted back saying: "Bachpan me mere pitaji ne mujhe sikhaya tha... "mard ko dard nahin hota" :-) !!!" (My dad used to tell me as a child that men don't feel pain)
He assuaged fears of his fans saying "Thank you all very much for your concern and messages. I'm fine, nothing serious. Just a small cut above my eye and a few stitches. Had a fall whilst filming a small action sequence in Jaipur. Have come back to Mumbai now and will resume work at the earliest."
He was shooting for the film 'Bol Bachchan' written and directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn, Asin, Prachi Desai and Archana Puran Singh.
