Gandhian thinker and well-known economist, Dr Vallabh Das Mehta died in Bhopal after prolonged illness. The end came on Monday. He was 84. He leaves behind three sons including Dr Ajay Mehta who is a bone specialist.
Gandhian thinker and well-known economist, Dr Vallabh Das Mehta died in Bhopal after prolonged illness. The end came on Monday. He was 84. He leaves behind three sons including Dr Ajay Mehta who is a bone specialist.
The economist had written a number of books and had been honoured for his work in the educational field. Dr Mehta retired from the Hamidia College in 1991 and the last rites were performed on Tuesday.
