There was no ulterior motive. A wordy argument had taken a violent turn,” said a police officer.The Singanallur police have arrested eight persons identified as Veeramani (24), Narayana Murthy (23), Vaikunda Raman (24), Ramamurthy (22), Karthikeyan (25), Parthiban (20), Ramesh Kumar (21) and Sarkuman (23) in connection with the incident.
