60th National Film Awards: Irrfan, Vicky Donor big winners
Irrfan shared the award with actor Vikram Gokhale who won it for his role in Marathi film 'Anumati'.

New Delhi: Irrfan Khan won the Best Actor award for his performance in 'Paan Singh Tomar' at the 60th National Film Awards. The film, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia won the Best film award as well.

Irrfan shared the award with actor Vikram Gokhale who won it for his role in Marathi film 'Anumati'.

John Abraham's debut film as a producer 'Vicky Donor' got the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The film shared the award with Malayalam film 'Ustad Hotel'. Anu Kapoor and Dolly Ahluwalia won the Best Supporting Actor and Actress award respectively for 'Vicky Donor'. Ahluwalia won the award with actress Kalpana for her role in Malayalam film 'Thanichalla Njan'.

Best Actress award went to Usha Jadhav for Marathi film 'Dhaag'.

Best Playback Singer (male) was awarded to Shankar Mahadevan for the song 'Bolo Na' from the film 'Chittagong'. Best Playback Singer (female) went to 'Aarti Anklekar Tikekar' for Marathi film 'Samhita'.

Special Jury Award was awarded to Parineeti Chopra for 'Ishaqzaade' and Nawazuddin Siddiquie for four films. Director Rituporno Ghosh also won the Jury award for Bengali film 'Chitrangada'.

The award for the best screenplay writer (original) has been conferred on Sujoy Ghosh for the film 'Kahaani' while another Hindi film 'Oh My God' won the best adapted screenplay for Bhavesh Mandalia and Umesh Shukhla.

'Kahaani' was also named the best edited film (Namrata Rao) of the year. 'Bolo Na' from 'Chittagong' won the best lyrics for Prasoon Joshi and best male playback singer for Shankar Mahadevan. Aarti Anklekar Tikekar was named the best female playback singer for 'Palakein Naa Moondoon from Marathi film 'Samhita'.

Best Lyrricist award went to Prasoon Joshi for the song 'Bolo Na' from the film 'Chittagong'.

In the Non-Feature Film category, Vikrant Pawar got the Best Director award for the film 'Kaatal' (Marathi). The Award for the Best Debut Film of a Director was conferred to Lipika Singh Darai for the film 'Eka Gachha Eka Manisa Eka Samudra' (Odia). Shumona Goel and Shai Heredia for the film 'I Am Micro' (English) and Vasudah Joshi for 'Cancer Katha' (English)were selected for Special Jury Award.

The Best Child Artist award was shared by Virendra Pratap for 'Dekh Indian Circus' (Hindi) and Master Minon for '101 Chodiyangal' (Malayalam).####
