KEONIHAR: Four Maoists surrendered before the DIG (western range) Jaswant Jethwa and Keonjhar SP Ashis Singh on Friday afternoon.They have been identified as Sambari Munda (18) alias Titi of Revana village under Daitari police limits, Rambati Hembram (20) of Asanbahali village, Aiban Tiu (20) alias Muna of Panga village and Singh alias Dharani of Tungurubahal, both under Telkoi police limits.  They surrendered with an 8 mm pistol and 18 live bullets.Sambari was the area committee member of Kalinganagar division of Maoists and the acting second-in-command following the poor health of Soni alias Rama, said the DIG.Sambari was allegedly involved in ransacking of the forest beat house and the ambush on a police party at Similipal. Similarly, Aiban was involved in the attack on Akul foreign liquor shop and Daitari police station. The surrendered Maoists will get all benefits declared by the State Government, the DIG said.
