'2 States' tweet review: Tends to drag in parts, but it's enjoyable

New Delhi: Chetan Bhagat's best selling novel '2 States' finally comes on the big screen. Ever since the book released, which was a few years ago, there have been speculations about which director and actors will be part of the project.

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt play Krish and Ananya, who meet while studying in IIM-A and fall in love. The two belong to very different states- Punjab and Tamil Nadu and their parents object to their relationship and marriage plans. How the two lovers go about convincing the parents and bridging the North-South divide forms the rest of the story.

Bhagat's semi autobiographical story has been directed by Abhishek Varman on the big screen and Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala have jointly produced the film.
