Kajal Aggarwal is one of the popular actresses in Indian cinema. She has predominantly worked in Tamil and Telugu films along with a few movies in Bollywood. Thaman S composed the film’s music, contributing to its success as an action thriller at the box office. Venkatesh portrayed Naga Chaitanya’s uncle in the movie. Although Kajal Aggarwal was initially offered the role of Venkatesh’s wife, reports suggest she declined due to concerns about her character. Consequently, Payal Rajput was chosen for the role. Venkatesh received praise for his performance in this well-received film. The movie showcased his acting prowess, earning accolades from both critics and audiences alike.
Kajal Aggarwal is currently working on the movie Indian 2. It is one of the most-anticipated films in the entertainment industry after the success of the first instalment that was released in 1996. Apart from her, actress Rakulpreet Singh, Nayanthara, and actor Sidhharth are also playing a prominent role in the film. Indian 2 is directed by S Shankar. The shooting is said to be 80 per cent completed. The movie was expected to be released on the occasion of Sankranti next year but got postponed further. The movie has faced numerous obstacles like, delay in shooting, the death of the actor Vivek and differences of opinion between director Shankar and Lyca Productions.
