The 2021 Telugu film Maa Oori Polimera still lingers in the minds of viewers. The thriller starring Baladitya and Satyam Rajesh among others was a relatively small film and thus opted for a direct release on Disney+Hotstar instead of a theatrical release. Although the mature themes polarised some critics, the movie, which revolved around mysterious deaths in a village, generally received positive reviews and emerged successful with record viewership. This prompted the makers to make a sequel to the film and this time opted for a theatrical release, owing to the success of the first part.
The movie was released theatrically on November 3. Maa Oori Polimera 2 had a budget of Rs 6 crore, inclusive of promotional costs and earned Rs 15 crore worldwide in the first week, earning more than double its budget. After a successful run at the box office, the film is ready to take viewers on a thrill-filled journey on OTT. The OTT release date for the film is finally out.
The Aha OTT platform will begin to stream Maa Oori Polimera 2 on December 8. Aha Video made this officially known on social media.

The Indian over-the-top streaming service Aha provides content in Tamil and Telugu. Launched on March 25, 2020, coinciding with Ugadi, it is owned by Arha Media & Broadcasting Private Limited, a joint venture between Geetha Arts and My Home Group.
Like its predecessor, Maa Oori Polimera 2 centres on occult practices. The audience was impressed by the movie’s turns and twists. The movie also has important parts played by Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskar, Getup Seenu, Baladitya, Ravi Varma and Rakendu Mouli.
Jangaiah (Baladitya) departs from the village of Jastipalli in search of his brother Komuraiah (Satyam Rajesh), who has gone missing. Inspector Ravindra Naik (Rakendu Mouli) is assigned to investigate the mysterious deaths taking place in the village at the same time. At the same time, a team from the Department of Archaeology expresses a strong desire to look into a village temple that has been abandoned. All these subplots intertwine together to form a gripping narrative.
