Open Reddit on your iPhone or iPad. The Reddit app looks like a white alien icon on an orange button. You can find it on your home screen or in a folder.
Make sure you're logged in to your Reddit account. Tap the account icon in the upper-left corner of your screen to open the account panel, and check if you're logged in. You have to be logged in to vote on posts and comments. If you're not logged in, tap the Home tab at the top, and tap LOG IN.
Tap the up or down arrow below any post. You can find these buttons in the lower-left corner of every post. The up arrow will upvote the selected post, and push it up on its subreddit's home page. The down arrow will downvote the post. Posts with more downvotes will move to the bottom of their subreddits.
Tap the comments icon below a post. This button looks like a tiny speech bubble icon next to the upvote and downvote arrows at the bottom of every post. It will open a list of all the comments posted to this thread.
Tap the up or down arrow below a comment. You can find these buttons in the lower-right corner of every comment. They will allow you to upvote and downvote comments just like posts. Comments with the most upvotes and least downvotes will show up at the top of the best comments thread below the post.
