Open Instacart's Shopper app and log in (if you haven't done so already). Instacart's Shopper app looks like a green Instacart bag on a white background.
Tap the "Menu" bar from the top left corner then tap the "Profile" choice (situated between "Earnings" and "Settings"). Then tap the "Update Zones" choice.
Look at what regions you have. Several zones make up most regions, and regions serve as the label of each list. When you first are accepted, you'll receive one unalterable list, which is based off of your home address you provided to Instacart. If you'd like more regions, email Instacart to give you a different region. All you have to do is find the zipcode the matches a working delivery zipcode for Instacart and explain to them that you want to be able to deliver there. Deleting regions outside of your home region is just as easy. Remove each and all zones inside the region, and press "Save."
Look at the zones in that region. Instacart is currently looking into splitting off zones into two types of delivery - "On Demand" and on a schedule based on scheduled hours. Some zones will provide one and not the other, while some will provide both. Each zone lists how its delivery services will be rendered in the lighter shade of black under the zone's name.
Add zones to your current list of zones you’re "watching." Tap the blank checkbox to the left of the zone name to add it and tap the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
Remove a zone from your current "watching" list. Find the zones that have their checkboxes checked, and tap these to deselect them; then tap "Save" at the bottom. If you have scheduled hours in a zone, to be able to remove that zone, you'll have to remove all upcoming hours in that zone. You must have no scheduled shifts within the zone to remove this zone. Remember that removing hours within the six-hour limit before a scheduled shift may cause your account harm and you may pick up a reliability incident for this change. Therefore, always finish the shift in that day then remove all other hours in other days, before you go ahead and remove the zone from your account.
Recognize that if Hourly services are being offered in your area, adding a zone will tweak that list. You will want to be careful where you are taking the hours. However, if you take off many zones and are just down to one, you might not find a spot where you can pick up orders.
