How to Uninstall Chrome on iPhone or iPad
This wikiHow teaches you how to remove the Google Chrome web browser app from your iPhone or iPad. If you're using 3D Touch and having trouble deleting the app, see the "Using the Settings Menu" method for an alternative to the typical tap-and-hold method.
Steps

Using the Home Screen

Tap and hold the Chrome icon until the icons begin to jiggle. It's the white icon with a red, green, yellow, and blue circle inside. Lift your finger from the screen once the icons are jiggling. If your're using a phone or tablet with 3D Touch, don't put any pressure on the screen—just touch lightly and hold until the icons jiggle. If you press too hard, a menu will expand instead. If you're having trouble making the icons jiggle, see this method to learn how to delete the app in your Settings.

Tap x at the top-left corner of the icon. The "Delete Chrome" confirmation message will appear.

Tap Delete. This removes Chrome from your iPhone or iPad.

Press the Home button or tap Done. The "Done" option will appear at the top-right corner of the home screen if your phone doesn't have a physical Home button. This returns your icons to normal.

Using the Settings Menu

Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings iPhone Settings App Icon. You'll usually find it on the home screen.

Scroll down and tap General. It's in the third group of settings.

Tap iPhone Storage. It's near the middle of the menu. This should say iPad Storage on an iPad.

Scroll down and tap Chrome. It's in the list of apps at the bottom of the menu. Look for the round red, green, yellow, and blue icon. The apps are listed in order of the amount of space they take up, so it may take a few moments for you to find Chrome.

Tap Delete App. It's the red link at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message will appear.

Tap Delete App to confirm. This removes the app from your iPhone or iPad.

What's your reaction?
