Enrolling as a Consultant
Visit the enrollment page to sign up as a consultant. You can find the enrollment page at https://www.rodanandfields.com/enrollment/why-r-and-f. To start the process of becoming a consultant, click on "Enroll Now" near the top of the page. The enrollment page has helpful information about the details of becoming a consultant if you'd like to learn more about it first. This page has answers to simple questions, as well as helpful videos and links to look through.
Select your sponsor on the enrollment sponsor page. After you click "Enroll Now," you'll automatically be taken to the sponsor page. A sponsor is a person who will act as your mentor throughout your consulting experience for Rodan + Fields. If you know a sponsor from Rodan + Fields that you’d like to work with, type their name into the “My Sponsor” bar and click “Search.” Otherwise, click “Request a Sponsor” to be matched with someone. You can search for a sponsor you already know by typing in their name, consultant ID, or their business name. When you type in a consultant’s information, possible matches will pop up. Click on the sponsor you’re looking for once you find them.
Choose your Business Kit from the four selections. Once you’ve chosen your sponsor, you’ll be taken to the kit selection page. There are four choices ranging in price from the cheapest at $45 (Business Portfolio) to the most expensive costing $995 (Ultimate Kit). Under the name of each kit is an option to read more details about it. Once you’ve found one that’s right for you, click it and press “Save & Continue.” The Business Portfolio is the most common choice for starting out and includes a Product Guide as well as a Quick Start Business Guide. The Personal Results Kit is $395 and includes everything in the Business Portfolio as well as a Rodan + Fields regimen of your choice and special add-ons like serums and makeup remover. The Core Kit is $695 and comes with everything in the Business Portfolio plus sample cards, six different regimens, and several different add-ons. The $995 Ultimate Kit comes with everything in the Core Kit plus at least 10 additional add-ons.
Subscribe to PULSE Pro for added perks and tools, if desired. Everyone who becomes a consultant gets a PULSE Basic account, which is the system that helps you manage your business. If you want additional tools, like a personalized website where you can sell the products, consider subscribing to PULSE Pro for $24.95 each month. The PULSE system is super easy to use and can even be used on your phone. Once you enroll, you’ll automatically get a one-month free trial of PULSE Pro to test it out.
Enter your enrollment and billing information into the form. Type in your name, address, and billing information on the next page. You’ll also set up your account by plugging in your email, password, and some additional personal information. Once you accept the terms and conditions and click “Submit Enrollment,” you’re all set! The total payment amount due is shown on the right of the screen, along with the date that your free trial expires. Once you click “Submit Enrollment,” you’ll be sent an email with additional information.
Start selling products through the Rodan + Fields website. After you submit your enrollment, Rodan + Fields will send you a package depending on which kit you selected so you can get started. Since the products are all sold online, it's not necessary to purchase products to sell to others in person. Each sale you make will be done on the Rodan + Fields website, and the person buying the products will have the opportunity to select you as their consultant so you make money. Begin reaching out to people you know and telling them to visit the website to start making money! The more expensive the kit you chose, the more you'll receive in your package. As a consultant, you'll earn a small profit from each sale you make, and you can even start making commissions later on.
Building Your Business
Use social media and word of mouth to sell the products. Tell friends, family members, and coworkers that you’re a consultant for Rodan + Fields, educating them about the products to see if they’re interested in purchasing them. Post about the products on social media platforms like Instagram or Twitter, or even consider making your own professional Rodan + Fields Facebook page to spread the message that way. Creating a social media following of people who are interested in Rodan + Fields is a great way to tell them about new products and remind them to purchase things. Reach out to your sponsor for more ideas about how to spread the word.
Recruit new consultants to earn more money. Tell others about what it’s like being a consultant and encourage them to try it out for themselves so they can earn money too. Whenever you recruit a new consultant, you earn a profit off of what they sell. Just make sure they select you as their sponsor when they go to enroll online. Ask coworkers if they’re interested in becoming a consultant, as well as friends and family members. You could even post on your social media pages telling everyone that you’d be happy to be their sponsor if they’re interested in becoming a consultant.

Go to Rodan + Fields events near you to meet the community. Sometimes Rodan + Fields employees will host events in your area with get-togethers to help you build your business, while other times events might be held by consultants just like you. These events might include workshops so you learn how to spread the word and gain sales, as well as seminars with helpful Q&A’s.
